Welcome to the Hamilton College Student Aid Estimator!

Hamilton College is pleased to provide families with a tool to help estimate financial aid eligibility.

You will be asked for information about your family's resources, which the calculator will apply to the current cost of a year at Hamilton College. The calculator will then provide an estimate of the need-based financial aid for which your family may qualify, as well as your estimated expected family contribution. You will be able to print out these results.

When using the calculator, please consider the following:

  • This calculator provides estimates of need-based financial aid. All financial aid at Hamilton College is based on demonstrated financial need. We do not offer merit-based or athletic awards.
  • The estimate is based on data that you have provided. It is designed to be used as a planning tool to demonstrate the affordability of Hamilton College.
  • The expected family contribution will vary among colleges based on institutional policies.
  • The Financial Aid Office is the final authority on your financial aid eligibility (which includes your expected family contribution and potential aid).
  • Eligibility for Hamilton College Scholarship includes federal and state grants. At the time an actual award is made by the Hamilton College Financial Aid Office, eligibility for federal and state grants will be determined and the amount of Hamilton College Scholarships will be adjusted.
  • This tool is intended for U.S. citizens and permanent residents only. It does not apply to Canadian or other international students.
  • Families that are in a divorced/separated situation or own a business/farm are not accounted for by the Net Price Calculator.
  • At the time of your application, please inform the Financial Aid Office of any special circumstances.

We encourage you to visit our website to further explore information about financial aid at Hamilton College.
